Start with the Docs

The ScribeWright Docs are the same Help you get in the app with F1, with a topic for every part of it. The topics people ask about most:

Getting Started: your first book, from New Book to an EPUB.
Backups and Recovery: autosave, the .bak copy, and getting a book back after a crash.
Exporting: EPUB, Word and PDF, and what EPUBCheck reports.
Keyboard Shortcuts.

Write to [email protected] for questions, problems and suggestions.

These help us find the cause quickly:

The version of ScribeWright (Help ▸ About) and of Windows.
What you did, step by step, what you expected, and what happened instead.
A screenshot, if something looks wrong (Win+Shift+S).
The log, if the app crashed or showed an error: Help ▸ About has a link that opens the log folder; attach the newest file. The log lists app events and file paths, never the text of your book.

Please do not send your book unless we ask; if a problem only shows with one book, we will ask for a copy and keep it private.

ScribeWright collects nothing and makes no network connections. The privacy policy has the details.
